About the Course

Our Level 3 Blended Paediatric First Aid training combines online flexibility with practical classroom learning. Fully aligned with the EYFS 2025 Statutory Framework and Ofsted requirements, it equips early years professionals with the confidence to manage medical emergencies involving babies and children.

• 1 full classroom day of practical, face-to-face training

• Online modules completed at your own pace

• Both parts must be completed to receive your certificate

Course Content

• Roles & responsibilities of the paediatric first aider

• Managing emergencies: DR ABC, recovery position, calling for help

• Infant & child CPR, AED use, choking response

• Breathing difficulties: asthma, anaphylaxis, croup

• Seizures, diabetes, shock, meningitis, sepsis

• Injuries: bleeding, burns, fractures, head bumps, everyday accidents

• Allergic reactions & EpiPen use

• Bites, stings, and eye/ear/nose incidents

• Recording, reporting, and parental communication (EYFS 2025 compliance

• Certificate valid for 3 years

• Fully meets EYFS 2025 statutory requirements for Paediatric First Aid
